Changes

I guess I really like to change things! Now that I figured out how to make my own backgrounds, I 'll be changing them alot! It's from a picture of an old frame I found online. I collect (hoard) old picture frames also!

The Great Pumpkin!

A couple of posts ago, I said I made a BIG giant pumpkin and I hoped it would sell... it sure did! The new owner is Megann, one of my best customers at Bedford Fall Foliage. This a picture of all of us togther. That's Me, Rick and Will holding it and Megann, Soren and my hubby, Tom. Got this picture from Megann's blog.

Annoyed!

Annoyed with the other divider, so I tried another. This one is better, but I still have a problem with cutting out in photoshop and having clean edges! Don't know what the issue is. I need more tutorials on Adobe.

Backgrounds

Well, today I decided to try my hand at making my own background! It's been an adventure! Found the directions online and gave it a go...Lot's of trial and error. The banner was no problem, but it was a little tricky getting the background to be the right size and show my typing right. Lot's of adjustments. Then, I thought, what the hey, might as well make a divider, too. More problems! I had trouble getting it the right size and my images weren't crisp enough, had to redo them. To top it off when I went to upload to photo bucket, it's too busy for me or something. It won't load or let me upload! I could scream! Have to try again later. I'm going to try my divider on this post...

Saw the preview for the divider and it needs more work. DARN!

Spool cabinets

I just recently found 3 more spool cabinets! Score! Auctions and and Antique stores, yea! I only have pictures of 2 so far.


Someone painted this one, but I still love it.

This one has a leather covered top that lifts. It's a little desk top and it has a space for an inkwell. Love, Love, Love!

Next show

New Germany is over and now it's on to Bedford! Lot's of stuff happening this week. My parents left for Florida after being here for 2 months, miss them already! Drs. appts., funeral home, cleaning, sewing, And always commotion! Life never slows down.

Fall show is coming!

My first fall show is coming next week! Still have LOTS to do! I really don't know where the summer went. I never seem to have enough time to get everthing finished. Body parts are strewn about and I need a CSI team to get it all sorted out. What ever I have finished will go and the rest will have to wait for the October show...
